The fangirls of the 2000s are rising up, whether or not you prefer it or not. Many widespread fanfiction adaptions, like Fifty Shades of Gray and After, have hit the massive screens, and it looks as if there’s no stopping Wattpad authors from taking on the movie trade and bringing large stars with them. Anne Hathaway has been solid within the upcoming Amazon Prime Video movie, The Concept of You, impressed by the favored Harry Types fanfiction novel from Robinne Lee. The story follows a divorced 40-year-old mom named Sofie who, after her ex-husband leaves her for a youthful girl, takes her 15-year-old daughter to Coachella. On the competition, she meets and falls in love with the lead singer of the most popular boy band August Moon, 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (clearly impressed by One Path’s Harry Types). He’ll be performed by British actor Nicholas Galitzine, contemporary off his Purple Hearts success. The movie will probably be directed by The Dropout and The Eyes of Tammy Faye’s Michael Showalter and written by Kissing Jessica Stein and Pals With Children’ Jennifer Westfeldt. Right here’s hoping Sofie doesn’t attempt to promote her daughter to August Moon within the sequel.
